One of the major advantages of Epson’s pigment-based ColorWorks printers is their ability to produce durable, high-quality color images, text, and barcodes.
But ink durability is only one part of label durability.
The finished label is a complete system.
What Are You Labeling?
A label being applied to corrugated cardboard may require a very different adhesive than a label being applied to glass, polyethylene, polypropylene, flexible packaging, painted metal, or another difficult surface.
What Will the Label Be Exposed To?
Water, refrigeration, freezing temperatures, chemicals, oils, abrasion, heat, and outdoor conditions can all affect the material and adhesive we recommend.
Paper or Film?
Paper can be an excellent choice for many indoor product and identification applications. For applications requiring additional moisture resistance, durability, or a different finished appearance, an inkjet-compatible film such as BOPP may be a better solution.
Gloss or Matte?
The surface of the label material can have a major impact on the finished appearance of your graphics, text, and barcodes.
