What is thermal color imaging?
Thermal color imaging is the ability to highlight variable data in color on your direct thermal labels. This allows you to prioritize, differentiate, and consolidate your products and processes. To be clear, this is not a label pre-printed with color that only allows you to print in black. Instead, these labels start off with your typical white background with pre-defined invisible color zones.
When there is data printed in those color zones, the image appears in the color. You can print in standard text or graphics. Thermal color imaging really helps your labels standout. For example, you can print in reverse, color background with white letters. See the sample label.
This technology was recently developed and will change the way companies manage their business. Until now, the only other solution was pre-printed labels or a technology that required very high minimum orders and was at a premium cost wise.
