Zebra 8000T Vinyl Clear – Thermal Transfer Matte Vinyl Labels with Permanent Adhesive

Chemical Resistant • Self-Laminating Capable • Zebra Durability

When labeling applications require high chemical resistance, durability, and flexible wrap-around functionality, Zebra 8000T Vinyl Clear delivers exceptional performance. This thermal transfer matte vinyl label with permanent acrylic adhesive is conformable enough to be used as a self-laminating wire or vial label, providing high resilience in industrial and laboratory environments.

Material construction includes 4.0 mil clear matte vinyl facestock, paired with 0.5 mil acrylic-based permanent adhesive and 3.0 mil semi-bleached kraft liner, for a total thickness of 7.5 mil ±10%.

Zebra 8000T Vinyl offers excellent chemical resistance and some smear/scratch protection, with extended compatibility against blood, body fluids, salt water, water, alcohol, ammonia, bleach, and IPA.

Not recommended for exposure to harsher industrial chemicals such as gasoline, MEK, acetone, or xylene unless used in self-laminating mode, which enables resistance to all chemical categories (per the note at bottom of spec sheet, page 1).

Temperature performance ranges from –40°F to 176°F (–40°C to 80°C) with a minimum application temperature of 50°F (10°C). Expected exterior life is 1 year.

This material is also listed as meeting ANSI/UL 2238 compliance for cable labeling, per the additional testing certification on page 2.

For optimal print quality and durability, Zebra recommends 6100, 3200, or 6200 resin ribbons.
