Zebra 8000D Near IR – Direct Thermal Paper Labels with Near-IR Enhanced Durability

Near-IR Readability • Extended Media Life • Zebra Performance

When visibility and scanning flexibility matter, Zebra 8000D Near IR provides an enhanced solution compared to standard direct thermal labels. This direct thermal paper label with permanent acrylic adhesive features a special Near-IR facestock that offers extended durability and detection in both visible and near-infrared wavelengths—making it a strong choice for product identification, shelf labeling, and work-in-process tracking.

The construction includes 3.2 mil white smooth topcoated paper tag facestock paired with an 0.8 mil all-temp acrylic-based adhesive, designed for strong adhesion on multiple substrates.

It also meets FDA 175.105 requirements for indirect food contact, making it suitable for certain controlled environments.

Temperature performance ranges from –65°F to 140°F (–54°C to 60°C), with a minimum application temperature of –20°F (–29°C). While not recommended for outdoor use, it performs reliably in inventory, tracking, and shelf management applications.
