- Are your clients asking about RFID product labels?
- Would your clients benefit from an RFID starter kit to get them started?
- Have you missed out on an opportunity to provide a product because you couldn’t meet packaging or production specs?
- Have you been hearing a lot about the Industrial Internet of Things?
IIoT – the Industrial Internet of Things.
This is becoming a hot topic amongst our warehouse, packaging and manufacturing customers. As the Internet of Things becomes a pervasive element in retail, bio-tech, automotive and consumer product industries, the need to be able to generate RFID-embedded labels, tags and tickets connected to your clients’ supply chains is becoming a requirement. Bar code label expert, PaladinID, is proud to announce that we are now offering EdgeMicro, an RFID Starter Kit developed by CYBRA Corporation order now!
The EdgeMicRo kit is designed to allow our clients to “dip their toes” in the waters of RFID tagging and labeling without making a huge investment in technology and hardware.
EdgeMicRo consists of a Full Featured, Mobile RFID Device, with Docking Station, Cables and Batteries. The solution has WiFi capability to record GPS coordinates of inventory, in remote locations. The kit also includes EdgeMicro Software to Encode RFID Tags, Seek&Find assets by item or attributes, and Record Inventory by Location along with a roll of 1,000 RFID labels.
We’ve Come a Long Way…
Think about how radio frequency technology has advanced from applications used in medical research, defense and technical engineering into real-world supply chains like retail, automotive, and pharmaceutical.
Adding RFID to existing barcode labels and tags enables instantaneous pick-and-pack reading, prevents mislabeled product from progressing through the system as well as validating and verifying multi-unit orders at the speed of light. Maybe it sounds far-reaching, but at PaladinID, we are committed to making RFID solutions attainable, affordable, and available to small and mid-sized product manufacturers.
Our RFID Starter Kit will help our customers experiment with the technology, and enable them to design virtually any type of Auto-ID document such as: labels, forms, RFID tags, and tickets. Once you’ve used the kit to design the RFID embedded assets, you’ll learn how to print them on many types of general and specialized printers from laser to thermal to automated applicators.
Once you’ve established an RFID tagging protocol, you’ll be able to test various RFID features such as:
- Track-and-trace – for locating assets and inventory
- Verification – to ascertain that the correct label has been affixed to the right product
- Authentication – prevent “look-alikes” and counterfeits from eroding your product’s authenticity
PaladinID is here to help our clients transition to RFID technology in a mindful way. We believe that starting slowly with minimal investment will help manufacturers identify the specific needs and requirements for their products and the industries and supply chains into which they sell.
