For applications requiring tamper-evident labeling with clear proof of removal, Zebra 8000T Void Gloss provides a highly secure solution. This thermal transfer gloss polyester label is engineered with a permanent, tamper-evident acrylic adhesive that leaves behind a VOID pattern upon removal, making it ideal for product authentication, warranty protection, and security labeling.

This material also features excellent durability and chemical resistance with some smear/scratch resistance, maintaining long-term readability even in industrial and handling environments. Total construction thickness is 6.0 mil, combining 2.0 mil gloss polyester facestock, 0.8 mil tamper-evident adhesive, and 3.2 mil kraft liner.

Temperature performance supports aggressive handling conditions, with:

Minimum application temperature: 23°F (–5°C)
Service temperature: –20°F to 212°F (–29°C to 100°C)
Expected exterior life: up to 1 year

For optimal ink durability, Zebra recommends 6200 or 5095 resin ribbons, both compatible with the full range of tested chemical exposures.
