PermTherm Product Labels
What is a PermTherm?
It is a new label product that provides an innovative material for thermal printing that replaces traditional direct thermal labels. PermTherm was developed to fill the void in the direct thermal market where paper is not an option and the stability of the label print has to be permanent.
It is a great solution for common problems such as:
- short shelf life
- sensitivity to heat
- image fading
What do you use PermTherm Product Labels for?
These labels are used for printing at the customer’s site for variable data that requires no thermal transfer ribbon.
Great news! It will work in any thermal/thermal transfer bar code label printer.
This product uses a white synthetic face stock that requires no heat sensitive coatings (e.g.Leuco Dye). The image will not fade like other direct thermal label products and is a deep black, with crisp text and barcodes.
This is the perfect solution for you if your application requires:

- fade resistant

PermTherm Product Labels can be ordered in four different adhesives:

- Image permanence with no image fade from hear, cold light or time
- Image is UV light resistant to a minimum of 18 months outdoors and 50 years+ indoors
- Factstock is heat stable to 250 F
- Label is not affected by water or water base fluids.
- Holds up even under total submersion or when boiled
- Durability is comparable with a printed BOPP using a ribbon
- Significant cost savings over using a BOPP with a ribbon
