When labeling microscope slides or diagnostic surfaces, you need a material that withstands aggressive chemical immersion and extreme processing environments. Zebra 8000T Slide delivers superior durability as a thermal transfer white gloss polyester label paired with a permanent acrylic adhesive, engineered specifically for laboratory slide labeling and staining processes.

When printed using Zebra’s Image Lock™ ribbon, this material is able to withstand immersion in harsh chemicals while maintaining print clarity and adhesion. It also demonstrates moderate abrasion resistance and prints cleanly at speeds of up to 6 inches per second.

The material consists of:

  • 3.0 mil gloss coated polyester facestock

  • 1.0 mil acrylic-based permanent adhesive

  • 3.1 mil semi-bleached kraft liner
    for a total thickness of 7.1 mil ±10%.
