Zebra Z-Perform 1000D – Standard Direct Thermal Paper Labels with Permanent Adhesive

Cost-Effective • Reliable Print Quality • Zebra Entry-Level Performance

For basic, cost-efficient direct thermal labeling applications, Zebra Z-Perform 1000D delivers dependable print quality with a white smooth uncoated paper facestock and permanent acrylic adhesive. Designed for general-purpose labeling, this material is ideal for product identification, compliance labeling, work-in-process, and food labeling, where abrasion and chemical exposure are minimal.

The construction includes:

  • 3.1 mil smooth uncoated paper facestock

  • 0.7 mil permanent acrylic adhesive

  • 2.4 mil 40 lb. semi-bleached kraft liner
    Total thickness: 6.2 mil (±10%).

It offers good print quality, but has limited resistance to moisture and abrasion, making it best suited for short-term indoor use, without exposure to harsh conditions.


It also meets FDA 175.105 requirements for indirect food contact applications.

Temperature performance:

  • Minimum application temperature: 25°F (–4°C)

  • Service temperature: –40°F to 140°F (–40°C to 60°C)

  • Not recommended for outdoor use

Chemical resistance: Not recommended (NR) for all categories including water, alcohol, ammonia, bleach, and IPA.


Not recommended for high-speed printing applications.
