Direct Thermal Labels
Direct Thermal Labels
Direct thermal labels differ from thermal transfer labels in that the direct thermal label does not use a thermal transfer ribbon. Direct thermal labels have the ink in the paper that is activated by heat. Most uses for direct thermal are in the food industry because the labels typically have a short shelf life, six months or less.
Our primary business is custom labels which get printed with variable information, typically at the customer site using a thermal transfer bar code printer. We can produce any size, shape and configuration. We carry many different label material/adhesive combinations along with the capability of producing color depending upon your needs. We also provide several tag stocks in paper as well. These labels can be produced as blanks or in color using a flexographic or digital printing process. We will work with you to produce the type of image you want on your products. For more information on how we can help you through this process, please contact us.
Our stock direct thermal label program offers a large assortment of sizes in various formats like rolls or fanfold. If you do not find what you are looking for, please Contact Us. We are adding new sizes quarterly and may already have what you need.
