We are excited to announce that PaladinID is now a reseller of the Armor line of ribbons. Amor is not a household name because most of their business has been making ribbons for OEM’s. Betaspring Open House!

Betaspring is having an open house on March 8th, 2012 at their new location, 95 Chestnut Street, Providence, RI. This will be an exciting event for the business community. The Mayor will be there along with other business leaders.

New Source Technologies STP1115 Bar Code Label Printer

I received the new Source Technologies STP1115 thermal transfer bar code label printer last week. I was asked to evaluate the printer. It has much of the same characteristics as the STP1120N except this is a flat head printer, just like a Zebra or Datamax. The auto-loading of labels was great and easy to use. I will have more information in the coming weeks once I put the printer through it’s paces. What I can say is that the printing is clean and crisp. I was very excited about quality of the ladder style bar codes. It was as good as a picket fence style bar code. I have several customers who could benefit from this alone. If you are looking for a new printer, you must take a minute to look at the Source Technologies STP11115 bar code label printer. More to come ……

The NRF Convention & Expo starts today January 15th & 17th at the Jacob Javits Convention Center, NYC. This show is specifically geared towards retail and the company’s associated with it. Day 2 of PackExpo 2011 was another success. After hearing from people on the floor, they said traffic was brisk and that people were out shopping and not just kicking tires. They are looking forward to a strong finish today. I will post more news and information as soon as it comes in.
