I recently installed a Source Technologies STP1120N printer for a new customer. This printer replaced a IntelliTech printer. The customer told me that one of the reasons they were upgrading was because their current printers were too hard to use. Sometimes it took the operators over an hour to setup the printers and get the labels calibrated and configured properly. I received the new Source Technologies STP1115 thermal transfer bar code label printer last week. I was asked to evaluate the printer. It has much of the same characteristics as the STP1120N except this is a flat head printer, just like a Zebra or Datamax. The auto-loading of labels was great and easy to use.
